BOILER BLOCK
The cast iron boiler block consists of sections that can be disassembled and are kept together by biconical nipples 1 1/2"and locked by 4 tie-rods, Their size has been studied expressly to obtain wide surfaces of thermal exchange and a correct balance between the volume of the combustion chamber and the flue ways.

FITTINGS
The fittings of the boiler block are all cast iron: backplane, flue duct, front plate for cleaning purposes with fore furnace. S 300 boilers are also equipped with a refractory brick that closes
the combustion chamber and with a ceramic lining. The front cleaning plate is hinged. The sheet casing is painted at our factory and lined with a very thick fiberglass mat .The control panel is equipped with an adjusting thermostat, a safety thermostat, a temperature-gauge and a bipolar switch.

TESTS
All sections are first submitted to an individual test and then to a second one, when the boiler block has been assembled ,at 8 bar hydraulic pressure. The sections can operate up to a working pressure of 5 bar. They need no maintenance apart from regular cleaning.

OPERATION
S 300 boilers can work with gas/oil,with over 90% thermal efficiency. They need common burners at 2800 rpm. The draught resistance varies from 0 to 2.5 mm., according to the number of sections. The max. operating temperature is 105°C.

MAINTENANCE
It is limited to the regular cleaning of the flue ways, This operation is very easy: the cleaning plate being hinged, it can be opened without disconnecting the burner, but just removing the boiler casing front panel.
