Main Design
Features
• TURBO boilers comprise
a central, large, combustion chamber surrounded by four finned
flue gas passages resulting in:
• Maximum heat transfer
surface between the flue gases and the water.
• Hot water around the
combustion chamber keeps it at high temperature, this results
in a complete combustion with maximum
ratio of C02 and minimum ratio of CO , C , and
Nox in the flue gases.
• The rear section of the
boiler is half water cooled with a central cast iron plate
made from special material that is resistant to
acids and covered with refractory material from
the combustion chamber side. This unique design has the following
advantages:
• Protecting the back section
from being worn out in case of direct contact with the flame.
• Preventing thermal shocks.
